i mean, they didn't exactly inherit it in the usual way because of course it was a global problem,rather than specifically labour's fault, and according to plenty of you know, nobel winning economists etc, the way they are trying to get out of it is completely the wrong way to do it and will make things worse. which of course, we hope is not the case.
