What annoys me is that he's basically tried to rewrite Crow Road on two other occasions, which jsut smacks of lazinessHe has actually said that he views writing as a job he has to force himself to do, rather than something he does for love. But I get the impression this applies less to his Sci-Fi stuff as he really puts in a lot of attention to detail with that.
