Someone that a lot of people dislike for a lot of good reasons has died. I know it's not going to change anything at the moment, but the fact that they have died has cheered me up and I'm not going to apologise for that.

I said celebrating someone's death is distateful.
It's also rather hypocritical if you bang on about how Thatcher destroyed society and encouraged a position of "every man for themselves" and then actively celebrate the death of another human, thus proving yourself to be an example of the model of selfish humanity that you're arguing she made.

but in this instance I don't care. I would be equally happy if Michael Gove were to suffer a fatal stab wound to the neck, or if Jeremy Clarkson had a stroke.

but Clarkson or Gove I could almost understand because them dying now would stop anything they could do in the future, which might I suppose make the world a better place.
