This is true.
Round my way it's not uncommon for flats and small houses to go for well under £100,000.

Where I used to work in Bradford they could go for as little as £50,000. That said, it was right by the ring road and sandwiched in between two rough estates.

When I was a lad, we lived on a rough estate.
There were fights and stabbings all the time.

The only sensible way of getting home was via the supermarket......

There are some properties where I live
that are up for sale for around £25k. They are in proper RAF places though.

The first place I bought back in 1991 cost me £27k; same flat would now be worth about £120k. And it was in a really nice town.
