I spent about a month on a site, went back'n'forth with the client, got it all perfectly spot on. Everything was happy days as far as I knew. Everything was signed off as far as I knew.
One of the client's staff just asked me to do a change, so I go to do the change and....it turns out that they've had the site re-created (except they made some mistakes when copying my work) on a different platform by a different agency. Everyone in my company is like WTF? except one of the bosses seems to know but hasn't said anything to me yet.
I don't really get why someone would do that.

....why would someone throw that down the drain just to recreate it, which aspheticly looks identical (minus their mistakes in copying me), on a different platform like that?
