Neither am I, but I was like *hmmm* not exactly *OMG*
What do you think John Hurt did? I'm thinking he started the time war.

Dunno, but I think they might have shot themselves in the foot a little.
He's not one of the past Doctors, obviously. Which means he's one of the future ones. That either means they'll have to skip a Doctor, or kill off Matt Smith pretty sharpish before John Hurt dies. I suppose it could be another Paul McGann style one outing wonder, or summat.

Nah, he's meant to be somewhere in the timeline just before the new version I think.
Who knows, we'll be finding out in november.

Oh, because he didn't use the title Doctor, did he?
Sounds like hax to me.

They should have another older Doctor. I'm fed up with all these hipsters with their pretty hair and bow ties.

Yeah me too.
They remind me of you lot.

I'm really more of a Tom Baker.

Yeah, typical Dr Who "logic"
but we'll see. That said is there ever a reference to the various Dr's going "oh yeah, I'm the 6th" or whatever?
(, Mon 20 May 2013, 8:30, Reply)
There was a reference in that episode about Smith being the 11th
and there have been 11 people playing the Doctor. So if he's from previously in the timeline then all that "he broke the promise" business was their exploit.
