Puns
Is it just me, or is the Best of "Tales of the Unexplained" an absolute buttload of puns and jokes... and little actual content? Not that I'm complaining much, one of mine got in there.

But it just seems kinda sad that entries don't get into the top set unless they're not genuine :S The phenomenon seems to be growing. Hopefully this week's QoTW will have less puns in the Best of :)

b3ta contains a lot of scientists and such, who are less inclined to post stories about "ghostly encounters" so rather than flaming others, they make jokes.

EDIT: and v true, MM. I'm not a believer in all things spooky and paranormal, but I know other people are and I don't particularly want to offend anyone, especially when so many people's experiences are coming from times when they've lost someone close to them. Sometimes it's better to keep quiet than start a pointless argument. I'm happy to debate people in person, when the nuances of an argument won't get lost due to being written down. I prefer not to risk misunderstandings by challenging people on teh interwebz. I'm a coward like that.

That said, there's always room for a good pun, :)

Rakky is a good sort, this week I'm struggling to come up with any instances of faking something. I'm a rubbish liar, and can't keep a poker face while doing so; therefore I end to tell the truth or say nothing.

I kind of think since we've got this QOTW-and-a-bit board, the main QOTW has gone a but quiet with the regulars spending a lot of time in here.

C'mon peeps! Two boards - twice as much skiving. Don't think you can hide behind your "real" work...
