A real gift idea for you
Have you got one of them turntables/cassette things that transfer vinyl and tapes into a digital format? And a new PC if memory serves me correct.

I could actually see this being of use to you.

Yeah, because vinyl has a much "warmer" sound than digital mediums.
Which I assume comes from all the hissing and scratching noises and, of course, the groove-skipping.

I, personally, favour tube-amps over modern alternatives because they're so much more delicate and inconvenient to use. Although, to be fair, they do look awesome.
