Re your curry article in the other thread...I was in a curry house near tower bridge about 6 years ago. Two blokes did a runner without paying the bill. One left his rucksack under the table and came back for it ten minutes later, just in time for the police to arrive. Very funny at the time.

Lau's Buffet in Newcastle has a wall of shame for people who did runnersPeople are proud to be on it.

Not been to Lau's buffet for yonks.To be fair, doing a runner from there is the equivalent of shoplifting from Lidl.
