If you have to use the brakes on a motorway other than to stop as you come off the slip road then you're not anticipating enough and/or driving too close, a lift of the throttle should be all you ever need, unless some other driver has done something really stupid unregulated immigration and asylum seekers clogging up our roads in their Dacias and Trabants.

And yet there's only one person with the bottle to talk about these isses. Only one REAL alternative to those Brussells sprouts - that's right, that Nigel Lawson chap.
