Ah, no.
We funded a kid's play area back in October; some twat objected and the planners said they wouldn't approve the application - so the project sponsor has identified a new site for it, but still had to put in a planning application. The planners are visiting the site tomorrow and I'm just going along to hopefully get an idea of whether they're minded to approve this time.

Ohhhhhhh, not quite the same then.
Play areas can be pain to get approval on, every 4 houses homes a Victor Meldrew type TRUFAX

This is to be sited on the grounds where Lancelot 'Capability' Brown was born.
They're trying to make it slightly educational in that respect, so it's not just going to be your standard slides and swings, they're trying to incorporate other stuff as well. Some pillock objected on the basis that they were miffed because it was going to be next to some tree of national importance or something (and also because they were hacked off as they were the only person on the estate who was against the idea in the first place because, basically, they hadn't come up with it themselves.)
