Look, if you ignore the..
...accelerated farming out of public sector services to cost-cutting private firms, the illegal wars, the massive clampdown on civil liberties, ruinous PFI contracts, continued subsidies to badly run rail services, encouragement of an unsustainable housing price bubble and failure to properly regulate irresponsible and incompetent elements of the banking sector, for example, they did a smashing job.
