HR only exist because a lot of managers are piss-poor at people managementThat and the minefield that employee law has become, more laws=more jobs for lawyers.

It's not even as complicated as that.Hiring and firing people is a massive ballache.
No one wants to do it, so they hire in these vacuous bints, who have no other purpose for the rest of their time.
It is rare to come across someone in an HR department who has the first idea about employment law.
