i was aware, but only due to being in the trade,
they're quite civilised digestives really, not horrible bomb shot drinks for cunts.

Last time I went out in the city center, one of the lads insisted on buying shots?????

YUP,
but the dark heavy drinks like jager are for after dinner stomach settlers, or between course cleansers for more eating really.

I drink a lot
but not in that DOWN IT rugger way

i really rarely drink spirits if i'm honest, i'd rather drink slow all day, than get loopy.

I have taken a few clients out for (MIDDAY) dinner*
and follow a simple rule, beer whilst waiting for the table, wine during the meal and a short to finish off. unfortunately I have been the driver for the last three times I feel cheated especially as it was me that paid for it**

*Anything that involves 3 courses is dinner regardless of the time
**On the company credit card

Worst thing is the Hilton is only a short stagger to my house :(
I want to be the one that gets to go home and have a siesta after a large mid-day meal :(

I'm one of life's sippers.
I tend to like my drinks straight apart from gin too.
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:11, Reply)
This is precisely it.

the number of times I've been asked if I want ice in cognac is insane.
The whole design of the glass is to aid warming. Ice? Wankers
(, Tue 9 Jul 2013, 20:17, Reply)
I only have ice in whisky if I'm drinking it somewhere crowded and hot.
There are very few whiskies which need water, and fewer which are best with ice.

Philistines.

All I will say is that you can sip very quickly...
