Give them credit, they've done a fair bit to pretty up teh seafront in the last few years.Apart from the derelict lido that the council keeps dragging its feet over.
The actual town is a shithole though.

we walked through the town and down the pierit was a pretty depressing town centre, but it was about feb/mar, so i will bet it's nicer in the summer. and we did have fucking nice sandwiches/cakes in one of the cafes.
