He's gotta be
So Hat-so
He's gotta be
So Hat-so
He's gotta be be big and strong, and live in the Portsmouth area.

I think the last line needs some minor tweaking but other than that I'm ready to take this bitch to the studio and lay it down like a bottle of 1982 Chateau Petrus.

Monty Boyce, Monty Boyce
When it comes to cool he's the only choice
He struts through life without a care
Telling tales of Treworgey Fayre
Monty Boyce, Monty Boyce...Monty Boyce, Monty Boyce
Repeat to fade

Well the first time you heard my voice
you were rockin
to the rhythm Youre hands couldnt stop finger poppin
to the sound of the drum and bass that kicks
When Vaggy B on the decks, other DJs get licked.

You dont believe me? Well it aint no joke.
With him behind me, Ill never go broke
because he makes those beats sweeter than honey
we record it, and rake in the money

I got thousands of rhymes inside my mind
I hit the button on recall, theyre easy to find.
At the show, my voice booms on the P.A.
other rappers shit their pants like its judgement day.

Were the new crew that comes from nowhere
The crowd shouts out, Thank God Theyre Here!
Well capture your attention like a news flash
A spread out sound like an infectious rash
Of def-rate beats, each and every one.
Now youre rockin and boppin to the tempo of the drum.
I knew it wouldnt be long bfore you got into it
Yo B Show em how you do it.
------
Chorus:
Oh Yeah, Hes rockin Vaggy B.-
Hes a Bad Young Brother. (repeat)
------
Fresh Beats stead of Drugs Im on a natural high
The Lords my shepherd, that is why
My odds are favored to win this rap race
put your money on me, Boy, Its gonna be safe.
An investment, a long term security
this LPs like a painting by DiVinci
A masterpiece of killer cuts and rhyme;
my DJ Vaggy B is my partner in crime.
Nobody can cut quite like this man -
theres a roof off of every single jam.
Sucker Djs run, trying to escape,
but the damage is done Its just too late.

All homeboys like their beats, heartbrakes, and
cuts that rumble like earthquakes.
Fly-girls scream, then they holler
we get paid in pounds, not in dollars.
For our boss rhymes, and our beats -
you know were Londons finest Kings of the Street.
Now that I know that youre all into it
Yo B, show em how you do it.

[Extended Chorus]

Put the needle to the groove - thatll make you move
With cuts like a razor, some rough some smooth.
Raps next generation a 90s B-boy
I aint no imitation Im the real McCoy.
Comin to you live and directly
I got honors, masters, PHD and a nobel peace prize for my rap,
And Derek Bs got a grammy award for his scratch.
We dress all in black, never ever touch crack
We wear fresh, fly Addidas not Nikes, theyre wack.
Black 501s, Visacci Leather jackets,
when we do any jam, we always pack it.
Like royalty, well be around forever
like Lennon and McCartney, were perfect together.
Like an 808 bass drum, we sound real good
the beat keeps droppin, the way it should.
The twelve-hundreds are spinnin, my managers grinnin,
My Mas so proud of me now that I am winnin,
And I know that youre all well into it

[chorus]

[outro:]
Bust the Beat.
Shits dope, huh?
Alright.
Yo D - Bust it. Woo

I mean, that's our Vaga-B in a nutshell, isn't it?

(, Wed 24 Jul 2013, 8:42, Reply)
Yeah I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out.
It pretty much wrote itself if I'm honest.

It's no wonder Derek B killed himself
Such a shame...so much blood :(
(, Wed 24 Jul 2013, 8:49, Reply)
Poor old Derek.
He was tipped to be the first UK hip hop act to break America. Unfortunately no-one thought to check with America first before announcing this, and they (quite rightly) thought he was shit and laughed at his desperate, flailing rhymes and cod-US stylings.

Technically he would have been the 2nd anyway and Slick Rick is from Wimbledon and had topped the charts all around the world with Doug E Fresh in 1984 with their zany take on the Inspector Gadget theme, 'The Show'.
