The turnaround time between a film hitting the cinema,
coming out on DVD and getting reduced to a fiver is so quick nowadays that I'd rather buy it then than spend my monthly mortgage repayments on the pleasure and sharing a room with cunts that can't go a couple of hours without filling their faces and/or checking their text messages.

I used to go almost every week 'back in the day' but luckily, due to the cost, the amount of films that make me cream my shorts in anticipation of seeing them on the big screen dwindles every year. Last one I saw was Man of Steel and it was utter utter offensively gash horseshit.

I used to work with a couple of film critics, who were utter stereotype pretentious wanker nerds.
I came in one morning, and told them I'd seen Nikita at the weekend.

"Oh?" they said, "And what did you think?"

"It was OK" I replied, "But not as good as The Assassin."

Their faces did that Total Recall thing when he's ejected out of the atmosphere-generator.
