Swish-as man, what they like to drive?
I'd have thought the more modern the easier but I know f-all.

No idea what they are like to drive.
Well out of my price range!

my boss has a DB4 and has just come back from Barbados
which is quite nice to know as I sell my home

One of the contractors I worked with about a year ago was driving a Ferrari
A combination of midlife-crisis, unexpected inheritance, savings and a mate in the trade.

It was at a time they were making shit loads of people redundant.

He was asked not to drive it to work as it sent out of wrong impression. The lucky devil had it for about 5 months and sold it for more than he paid for it.

My Dad's old buisness partner got a Bently Contanental GT for his retirement do, that they held at the ivy.
I think it was a bently contanental gt.... it was a sports bently and without a doubt the nicest car i've ever been in.
(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:24, Reply)

everything has gone tits

(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:46, Reply)
Oh Allah, didn't even look at the price....there's not-bad flats up north you could buy for that sort of dosh
What I mean is though, in general, are old cars hard to drive? Back when I was in cyprus I had a what I though was a Honda Integra (but google pics say otherwise, it was an old honda where the lights would come from the insides and it had a 'choke' button, was really low down) and I hated driving it... but we also had an automatic 4x4, which was really fun and easy to drive, especially going off-road.
(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:19, Reply)
Old cars have more character, new cars are less trouble.
Depends what/when/how often you'd use them.

If you were driving 100 miles a day, then something modern and sensible would be easier to drive, if you only drive on a Sunday, in the summer, when it's dry - and you know your way around a car, then a old 'um would probably be better.
(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:23, Reply)
Makes sense, I reckon personally i'd like to go modern, I like mod cons and gadgets.

(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:30, Reply)
The more gadgets, the more that can go wrong.
With an old car, you can hit things with spanners.

(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:47, Reply)
I've got a smart watch.

(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:48, Reply)
Cool, what one is it?
Or do you mean a watch that looks classy.
(, Thu 8 Aug 2013, 22:57, Reply)
Watches mean quite a bit ot me, i've always warn one, but if only had 4. I feel weird without them.
I had my first one when I was about 7 or soo which was a green one for diving.
Then on my batmizah my uncle gave me a really nice Tag,
Then when my Dad died, I had his watch, which he wore consistantly for decades.
and then now yesterday I got a Pebble one.

I've seen some patients and stuff about what Apple is going to do, like using the strap as a battery. I'm thinking march next year it'll come out, and i'd probably get that.

Not becaues i'm an apple fanboy though, if my devices were all android, i'd go for the android equivolent that'l come out around the same time.

Any 'smart watch' commments
Shouldn't be treated as a statement of technology.
