Massive highs (LOL) and lows.
Saying goodbye to being a homeowner for the first time since 1999 and waving goodbye to a home I love (and keep whining ON AND FUCKING ON about) upsets me far more than it logically should.
BUT...
Having started the year with legal process and the fucking POLICE involved in my attempts to be a half-decent father, and then not seeing my kid for fucking MONTHS as a result, compared with the full on every weekend and more overnight access, trips away etc. This shit makes my money tedium pale into insignificance.
So on the whole, I'll say 2013 isn't bad at all. Nice to have a summer, too.
Plus I'm looking forward to being able to not rely on poor old Lusty so much, and to treating the poor sod to some good times to say thanks.

I've got experience with overly-dramatic, bawling bloo bloo flatmates.

She's not a white girl that lives in a caravan, squatting on somebody else's land and making money out of nicking anything that's not nailed down, she's just Indian.
I don't think you know what racism means, my boy.

all I knew was, you're French, and that was more than enough to keep me well away.

The stuff with the house is a bummer, but that'll settle itself in time.
Now take off those glasses and kiss me, you fool.
