Just to a pub at the other end of town to see a couple of people we haven't seen in over a year.
We could get a taxi, but until I start working again I don't really want to splash out on such luxuries. Plus I'm not really in the fettle for a massive session anyway.

Ha ha!
To be honest, it is walkable (would take about 40 minutes) but the missus has a bad back and that amount of pavement pounding would just have her crippled in the morning. I have driven down in the past, got a taxi back and then walked down the next day to pick the car up again.
