Doesn't sound too bad. If it's a non standard part be careful how tight it all goes back together. You don't want power steering coming loose halfway round a sharp bend.

True, it's not the assembly though.Just the hose from the pump to the rack so worst case everything would go very stiff rather than me end up driving through someone's house or something.
