We had an underwater theme at a party once, All sorts of good costumes, sexy mermaids, drowned sailors and that. And one guy stole the show by just showing up with on of those plastic 6 pack beer holders around his wrist.
My only decent costume was as a sexy carrot. Thankfully no photos exist online.
