here's the secret shizzle: "revert to" means to go back to your former state. technically it's "revert back to" but that's redundant really.

soooo what i mean is, i'll consider what you've said, but i ain't budging on my stance - hence i'll revert. and hence the use in an OOO - no way am i changing anything from the beach!
