The incident was just a slight bump: bit of a dent in the bonnet, but the car itself is cosmetically fucked, It was my first car, and it's had all the dents and hard driving you would associate with that.
The engine is far too good to scrap, though, and it's only had 80k on the clock.

You'll probably struggle to sell it on, but if you're just planning on running it until it dies, there's no real issue with it.
If it's just the bonnet, get a second hand one off ebay.
