it's the women on those programmes who are terrifying. there was one who had dropped thousands of pounds on clothes for it.

and another who'd had an exact replica of her grandson made. the kid was about 7 and clearly creeped out by it.

i think she was in the uk and the family had moved to australia
so she had the doll made instead. but by the time the programme was made, the kid was about 7 and you could see he did not like watching the doll on skype!

I used to write for a toy company, and we'd get sent samples of the toys.
My colleague was sent one of those life-sized dolls of a 7-year-old, which I discovered by walking into the office at 8am with a chronic hangover, and seeing it stood on the floor, and slumped over his chair.

Obviously I couldn't resist it.
