I went flat on my back on black ice last yearproper winded myself, it was late evening and there was nobody about.
I had to lie there for a few minutes before I felt I could move.
Kinda scary.

a different restaurant i used to work the bar in has a big glass front looking out on to a death corner, ice always formed there and we would just spend our quiet shifts taking bets on who would peg it on the ice. Until i nice old lady fell and really hurt herself, had to get an ambulance out and all sorts, felt a bit bad.
