I loved the freedom of not answering to anybodybut my lazy nature (and the fact that I wasn't the one paying the bills) meant I didn't push myself to make a comparable wage to the one I left.
The only thing I would advise is to make sure you get a good accountant - one you can trust.
Alt: fucking freezing. Took the dog out for a wander earlier and I'm still not warm.
