I don't mind paying - I couldn't do what they do. But really - a text message (instead of call simply saying 'Not coming call office to make new appointment'?!

Not really. I'm sure there are some OK ones about. Although, in the last 4 months I have had 5 separate companies look at my central heating/hot water (not because it is broken but because I think it's weird) and the best they can manage?
