but at the risk of sounding bent, i prefer giving to receiving, so I got a lot of pleasure out of the bloke's face when he saw his presents and my niece's amazement when her (ghastly retarded looking) battery operated horse started trotting and neighing.

new year's day was easily the worst. it was 9pm before I felt better. stupid champagne cocktails. stupid vodka. urgh.
