whilst this is a good scientific explanationit fails, in the usual way of virginal scientists (my sweet), to see the bigger picture. usually people do dry January because they're sick and tired and penniless after indulging over Christmas. it's time to regroup financially, feel a bit healthier, rest and relax and get back into the working year...
