I like how soap stars have to be trained in how to deal with nutters, because there are people out there who can't differentiate between the actor and the character.
That said, actors talking about characters in the third person is really annoying - likewise authors about the characters they create, "I wanted to see how far Bond was prepared to go on this" WELL YOU'RE WRITING THE BOOK YOU DIPSTICK! TELL US!
