Watched American Hustle last night
Darn good story with some great and some slightly weaker performances and a slightly formulaic ending. Lots of emotional scenes with characters wearing hair curlers, even Bradley Cooper, which is something yer modern blockbusters have been missing lately in my opinion.

I was enthralled throughout, by both plot and performance.
There was probably a bit too much 'performance' going on but I liked it.

I felt nothing happened, it was predictable, and I fell asleep for a bit

If I'm bored watching a film my mind can sometimes race ahead and lay out the entire plot before it happens
but if I get caught up in a film I just stay in the moment and enjoy what I'm watching, predictable or not.
