I have just concluded a heated conversation that opened with me suggesting I send them the template and working instructions.After a five-minute discussion, during which they got increasingly agitated, they concluded that I should probably just send them the template and the working instructions.

My versions of that normally start with escalation requests for incidents, 25 emails and finally them accepting that my initial answer was the right one(
