honestly it would depend on how much I needed the money
60k is a decent lump but:

how would it affect your contract prospects back in the UK?
what would the work entail i.e. would you be down to the grind everyday as I could imagine that would get very tiresome on your own?
Do you have other options closer to home that while not returning the same amount would keep it ticking over?

I've got things on the go here - quite dull stuff though that doesn't challenge me much.
I've already got quite a lot of international experience already so wouldn't make much of a positive difference to my CV.

The work sounds really interesting.

in that case mate
go for it, I know I am not a lover of children but she will get over it... you will be able to get back often enough to maintain the relationship and lets be honest kids are fucking stupid and have no real concept of time :)

Also flying back every other weekend would make you fucked every time you saw micro

It's only a 4 hour time difference, so that would be easily manageable.

How long is the flight though?
Twice in one weekend?

7 hours - but I could fly overnight and sleep.
So, fly out on Thursday evening arriving Friday morning in the UK.
Fly out overnight on Saturday night, arriving to go to work on Sunday morning - the UAE weekend is Friday & Saturday.

If you think you can do it then go for it
Sounds like hard work
