One of the first comments I read on B3ta was
"I think someone needs a wank and a nap", which I thought was rather wonderful.

Standing waiting for a cab with a friend, I turned to him and said "Mate - do you know that song that's in the charts at the moment - it goes (hums refrain)", to which his considered response was "No ... and I don't like it."

Also I witnessed a 20-something chap's mother tell him, as he answered his mobile 'phone "Is that your 'phone? Your brother's got a much better 'phone than that ... and he's got a girlfriend."
