my friends did the week long trek to get theresaid they were far too knackered and hot and bitten to appreciate it when they got there - especially when an air conditioned coach load of fat American tourists rolled up next to them.

Difficult to go there now, they have limited the number of people who can go each year as the visitor volumes were starting to cause too much wear & tear. (
