Not brilliant tbh.
My current contract ends next Friday, they wanted me back but a political situation means that HR have suspended all recruitment until it's resolved. In the meantime I've been asked if I'd be interested in working with a group I've dealt with before but it's part time sickness cover, 2 days a week for maybe a month, possibly longer.

Still better than a gap on the CV, but...

Less hassle.
Plus the work will be interesting, and it shows willing. And I have my own time to look for something longer term, without the Jobcentre breathing down my neck. Having spent 10 months looking for work not that long ago, I know what I'd prefer. And i'm still applying for other things.

Assuming I get the fucking job, like.
