I sent a picture of a BMW 8 series to the mrs.
She only responded with one word.

"No".

Why, exactly, do you need her permission?
Man up & do what the fuck you like.

I'd have to park it at hers.
Also I'd be buying it with deposit money and she, unreasonable witch that she is, thinks this is a poor idea.
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 10:47, Reply)
So? What difference should that make?

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 10:48, Reply)
Because she's right.

And extremely pleased to be.
I am getting a little tired of my mates wives & girlfriends nagging me to get a girlfriend.

If I was in your shoes I'd most likely feel the same

I think they believe that if I get cunt-struck I'll stop meeting up with my mates & going on the piss with them.

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 10:53, Reply)
cunt-struck is a brilliant phrase

Next time they do that, say something like
"I heard that people nag others to get into a relationship because they see their single friend being perfectly happy on their own and start to question their own choices. Rather than face up to the fact that they could have made a huge mistake, they subconsciously attempt to steer the single friend into a similar situation in order to avoid asking difficult questions."

That'll fucking shut them up.

I like this.

Haha
I concede that buying a place to live is probably a better idea than indulging my whims. If that makes me hen-pecked, then so be it.

I really want another motorbike, but as a father it would be irresponsible.

(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 10:56, Reply)
I'd love a bike
but seeing the way cars are driven kind of puts me right off, have lost a couple of mates and others been seriously injured by careless motorists. Just don't think it's safe enough in Britain.
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 11:02, Reply)
It's pretty irresponsible whether you are or aren't,
but it's easier being so when you don't have any dependants, I guess.
(, Thu 27 Feb 2014, 11:02, Reply)
I think I'll go for a 6 series in a few years

I want a big tourer for driving to the continent for holidays and suchlike.
She's with me on that in principle, but is being most obstructive in practice. I also like 944s.
