I had L4, L5 & S1 vertabrae fused 'with instrumetation' in 2004, so I know back issues better than most what spinal surgery is like.
I've ran two half marathons since, you don't have any excuse to moan about a discectomy & a bit of an occasional ache. MTFU.

Yes.
Btw - I had to be taught to walk again, was off work for 5 months & had physio every day for a year. My surgery was right around my spinal cord, so high risk as well as high levels of recovery required. If someone as lazy & unhealthy as me can recover then anyone with a minor complaint has no reason to moan.

Too many people claim 'ooh. I've got a bad back, it's all due to blah blah blah'.

I had that spinal surgery once, couple of paracetamol and an early night and I was back in work the next day
