I'm contemplating one of those 'blend' systems for my Baritone acoustic
Piezo under the saddle and a microphone in the soundbox - bit pricey though.

I keep thinking about getting a baritone. Saw a nice baritone SG recently. Mind you, that Squier Bass VI looks quite interesting. I'd need a bass amp though.

Thing is, it sounds pretty good with the standard pickup, BUT....
It's one of those where the saddle and pickup are in one piece and the saddle's a bit worn. I prefer to make my own anyway so I can get the intonation and action spot-on for me.

Get one and then start mucking about with tunings, open tunings are really growly on a baritone electric.
