Unless you are on wireless and are quick enough pull the Ethernet from the computer... this will stop the email in your outbox and you can delete/ edit before resending

i tried this with a text once, back in the day
furiously yanked out the phone battery before it sent.

DENIED. she still got it.

Pop3 and sms are different protocols though
In theory if you could get the antenna out that would stop the signal and you would get a message fail .

unfortunately I was too late, and my text to the then bf saying, "quick quick our [hideous and weird] colleague has finally pulled some poor bastard" went to her.
