You're exactly right, which is why I'm not even trying to play nice, gently tease out kroneys penislet him know it's okay and everyone is entitled to think whatever they like, stroke it up and down and get things moving, discuss whether or not he might like to consider another viewpoint, and then hand him a kleenex.
As I said from the start, the whole situation is very depressing and leaves me simply not wanting to bother. But just because I'm not trying to save him doesn't mean I'm not going to point out when he's being a spastic cunt.
