Just going to point out that there is another mode of transport that's available to you
it's got a higher intial outlay than a bus, but nobody else is allowed on it unless you give them permission; it will stop anywhere you choose. As an added bonus, they're frequently cheaper than trains.

What you should've done is booked your lesson from wherever you were supposed to be catching the bus from.
And have it finish at your home.

But my instructor lives next door and gives me cheap lessons, he's not going to drive all the way out here.
