both android so
save everything to SD card in old one then transfer to new one worked for me.
the mobile backup ii app just helps by backing up all contacts (and sms, calendar etc if you want) to the sd card then you install the same app on the new phone and restore everything from the backup.

I followed the directions that came with the phone and now I can't use either.
