My boss popped up on site last week,
just for a chat, which is weird. Turns out he was there to tell me that the training they had booked for my development within the company that was the main reason for taking the fairly shit paying job will "unfortunately need to be delayed for anywhere up to 3 years"
So that's nice.

yeah, the market is picking up a little,
and there are a few engineering companies looking for trainees with any sort of electrical background. Going to jump ship nice and soon. Just updating my CV a little and going to start banging out applications.
