Ken Campbell
For anyone who knows who he was will surely be as deeply saddened as I was to hear of his recent sudden death.

He was one of the last great British eccentrics, a genius playwrite and a wonderful actor. He was one of the most captivating and funny people I have ever met.

RIP Ken

RIP
Ken Campbell - who was great at explaining science to a lay audience.

Fuck me
That's the first I knew of it.

Shocking isn't it
The first I heard of it was when I opened the paper yesterday and was confronted by his obituary.

Ken Campbell
Was nearly the 7th Doctor Who, but his screen test was deemed to be too mad and scary for kids, so they gave it to Sylvester McCoy.

Which is ironic, as it was Ken that gave Sylv his break in the Ken Campbell Roadshow.

Yeah I know!
You're right its pretty ironic really. I personally think Ken would have been a wonderful Dr. I'm sure he would've been the one everybody remembered!

I like Sylvester (and I know I'm in a minority here)
But think Ken would have been interesting. And the first bald Doctor.
