ah yes
There is nothing quite like the sound of your gearbox being chewed up and deposited on the road behind you as your on the way to work, in the rain.

Why do cars never ever ever break down on a nice warm sunny day?

Ooh
I know the feeling. My pain in the ass car has now started to let rain in somewhere on the drivers side. I've just realised after opening the car door and finding a mini brown lake in the footwell.

(pops back out and gets ready to start bailing out scummy water)

Mine leaks too.
I currently have it covered by a plastic drop cloth until I can re-caulk the weatherstripping on it. At one point the damn thing had grass growing in the carpet in the back seat. (I've since cleaned the carpet and gotten it dried out.)

If you buy a Laguna
it'll give you trouble regardless of the weather.

It's only because the weather's generally so crap that mine seems to give me trouble when it's raining.

gearboxes are overrated
you only need one gear and a lot of empty road

It's either Italian or French isn't it?

Italian
wish my Volvo was still alive, that was a great car, and it intimidated traffic! nothing like a rusting, dented 13y/o 2 ton comfy seated missile for getting people to not pull out on you / cut you up.

I bought a fiat
Sympathy please.

2 clutches, 1 gearbox, and 1 ECU unit. Next time I'm buying a bike.
