"The social chose to do it"It was one of those bonkers old rent act tenancies so he's probably still there paying an absolute fraction of market value. He'd done millions of "repairs" without permission and whilst some of them were ok, some of them were frankly horrendous, eg replacing an entire lovely lawn with 80's crazy paving... Hence claiming it was his house to do what he wanted with, when the landlord inspected and went spare...
