I watched three good films on the trot at the weekend:
The Double - looks ace - reminiscent of Brazil
Wolf Of Wall Street - great fun - reminiscent of Goodfellas
12 Years A Slave - soon to be made into a musical, along with Schindler's List.

Beetroot is horrible. My local pub has gone craft ale and gastro, and they put it in their burgers, ffs. Ugh. Anyone who likes it is a freak and a weirdo in the wrong ways and should be shot.

Ah - really?
That's inneressin, because the owner's BiL, who oversees the daily running, is one. Or a kiwi (tomato/tomato, right?).

I shall blame him thoroughly in the face next time I'm there.
