I administrate for my team, manage the workflow, and train up the newbs in other teams that supply work to us.
I've been here 10 years, know what's what, and am generally involved in or have a good idea of most of the projects going on.

A new guy has started, who has executive-style hair, wears a shirt and tie, and is the boss's new favourite - everything is being handed to new boy.

My boss marched me into a room the other day because he'd heard I'd told some of the newbies "I run the joint in all but name" hahahahahaha

is usually the one everybody loathes because they're constantly having to carry him and his workshy rubbishness.
